LOLER INSPECTIONS

Under the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998, all lifts need regular LOLER inspections. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) says those not designed to lift people should be tested at least every 12 months by trained inspectors.

Each of our Service Centres provide LOLER inspections for customers with written reports providing certification of lifts. Repairs can be provided if needed. Many customers include LOLER inspections in their routine vehicle servicing arrangements.

However, in addition to this formal HSE requirement, our DE Assured repair and maintenance contracts stipulate that we will carry out safety inspections and servicing every six weeks. And as well as these six-weekly inspections, all vehicles are checked daily before they leave the depots.
