Role: Pre Delivery Inspection Engineer

Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE

Hours: 40 hours per week | between 07:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday, and 07:00 - 11:00 Friday

Are you a meticulous engineer with a knack for quality assurance and mechanical systems? We're looking for a Pre Delivery Inspection Engineer to ensure our customers receive the best possible in-service experience!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection & Commissioning: Perform process-driven pre-delivery inspections, commission Terberg bin lifts, and diagnose and repair production and warranty issues.
  • Quality Control: Work to quality control procedures, recording all relevant information and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Support other workshop activities and work effectively as part of a production line environment.
  • Travel: Travel to other Dennis Eagle and Terberg sites as required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Knowledge: Understanding of health and safety standards and mechanical systems, ideally related to bin lifts and recycling vehicles.
  • Experience: Hands-on experience with repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment, performing pre-delivery inspections, and ensuring high customer service standards.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Qualifications: Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering discipline; GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English at Grade ‘C’ and above.
  • Other Requirements: Willingness to work over and above core hours, ability to travel throughout the UK, and a full UK driving licence.
