Fitter Welder, Aldridge

Role: Fitter Welder

Location: Aldridge, WS9 8TZ

Hours: 45 hours per week | between 07:00 and 16:30 Monday to Friday 

Join the team at Aldridge as a Fitter Welder and play a key role in repairing and refurbishing Refuse Collection Vehicles and other essential equipment. You'll ensure all work is completed to the highest standard within set timelines, while maintaining a safe and organised workspace.

Please note you'll be required to carry out a weld test as part of the interview process for this role.

Qualifications that set you apart include:

  • Experience in MIG welding and of medium-heavy fabrication of steel & welding (2mm-10mm)
  • Ability to build and tack weld fabrication from a drawing and then complete welding
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
