Role: HR Advisor (Employee Relations)

Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE

Hours: 37 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday

 

🚀 Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home 🚀

 

Join our team as an Employee Relations Advisor and play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment. You'll provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, ensure compliance with HR policies and employment legislation, and uphold our company's values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex cases including disciplinary actions, grievances, appeals, and TUPE.
  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Prepare and handle documentation for formal hearings and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in developing and reviewing HR policies to align with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Support managers in performance reviews and improvement plans.
  • Offer guidance to employees on work-related and personal matters.
  • Mediate conflicts and investigate complaints to recommend solutions.
  • Enhance employee engagement and retention through events, surveys, and feedback.
  • Deliver training sessions to employees and managers on effective practices.

 

Qualifications that set you apart include:

  • CIPD Level 5 certificate
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law, case law and HR best practice
  • Experience handling complex employee relations matters
  • Ability to deal with sensitive, pressurised, and volatile situations
