Role: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Chassis)

Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE

Hours: 37 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday 

Join the Chassis Engineering team at Warwick as Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and help shape the future of our market-leading products! You’ll be involved in everything from identifying needs and designing systems to overseeing product validation and supporting product launches. This role offers hands-on engineering experience, resolving production issues, and addressing field service concerns to ensure our vehicles meet the highest standards. You'll communicate with both internal and external customers, making a direct impact on product success and innovation.

 

Qualifications that set you apart include:

  • A basic rounded Engineering knowledge
  • Understanding of design methodology taking designs through the product lifecycle
  • Familiar with design fundamentals of multiple vehicles systems
  • Relevant experience/automotive knowledge including yellow goods
  • Knowledge of welding procedures & design
  • Completed a HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
