Role: Strategic Sourcing Manager

Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE

Hours: 37 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday 

Join our team as a Strategic Sourcing Manager, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous supply of high-quality goods and materials. With a focus on Electronics, Electromechanical, and Hydraulics, you'll manage a team of Buyers and Junior Buyers, driving our purchasing strategy and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Your expertise will help us navigate market trends, negotiate favorable contracts, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

In this role, you'll act as a vital link between Engineering and Purchasing, ensuring timely action on engineering releases and supporting new product initiatives. If you have a deep understanding of global supply chains and excel in strategic planning and negotiation, we invite you to apply and make a significant impact on our operations.

 

Qualifications that set you apart include:

  • Knowledge of Electronics and Electrical applications in manufacturing – looms, harnesses, PCB’s
  • Demonstrated ability to build a commodity strategy that aligns to the needs of the business both from a technical and objectives perspective
  • Proven purchasing experience, preferably within an automotive or manufacturing environment
  • To identify opportunities for improvement in the supply chain and internal business processes, for the value of the overall business
